Dough-lightful Bites

Design mockups. Same menu content in all ten.

Content to confirm with the client

  1. Menu and shop prices disagree. The menu sells standard boxes of 8 or 12 and deluxe boxes of 10; the Wix shop sells every flavour as a box of 12 or 24 at different prices. These mockups use the menu.
  2. Some deluxe cookies cost less than their standard version: Deluxe Oreo £1.80 vs Oreo £2.10, Deluxe Biscoff £1.90 vs Biscoff £2.10. Box discounts also vary a lot (Deluxe Reese's box of 10 is £18.99 against £2.33 each; Deluxe Pistachio's is £23.29 against £2.33 each).
  3. Allergens: Deluxe Reese's has a peanut butter centre but lists only "Nuts". Peanuts and tree nuts are separate allergens on UK labels, so it should say peanuts. "Dairy" is usually written "Milk". Also worth saying plainly on the site: every flavour either contains nuts or "may contain" them, so nothing is nut-safe.
  4. All contact details on the Wix site are template placeholders (123-456-7890, info@mysite.com, a San Francisco address, "© 2035 by The Doughy Delight"), and the shop still has the template's Electronics category and a "Mechanical Keyboard Kit" product. The mockups show marked placeholders instead.
  5. Not on the Wix site at all, shown as marked placeholders: the baker's story, how an order is confirmed and paid, collection or delivery, how much notice a date needs, and a real privacy policy. Every checkout here is an order request (no payment); that is a guess at how she works and needs confirming.
  6. There are no photos of her cookies anywhere. Every photo here is free stock (CC0, plus three CC BY that are credited on the page) and is listed in shared/CREDITS.md. Real product photos are the biggest single upgrade available.
  7. Fixed on the way in: missing £ signs, "Reece's" → "Reese's", "Massege" on the contact form.
